Synopsis
Why this workshop? There is an advanced manual in the Toastmasters system that contains the real secrets to effective speech skills. This is a manual entitled, “The Art of Interpretive Reading”. Most Competent Toastmasters (CTMs) avoid this manual because they think that it is all about poetry and drama, and they do not know how to do such things.
A real pity! Past issues of “The Toastmaster” (the TI magazine) have featured articles on poetry reading and dramatization skills. Learning them and mastering them will put you one class above other public speakers and Toastmasters.
Lion City is proud to present a special workshop on Interpretive Reading. It is hoped that through this training programme, participants will gain skills that will enable them to achieve a higher level of competence and confidence as public speakers.
