Greeting from Division D Governor

I thank you for your support for giving me the opportunity to serve you as your Division D Governor for term 2008/2009.

For the years as a Toastmaster, I learned communicating skills, leadership skills and problem solving skills. These allow me to take up new challenges and achieve more. I can do so, simply because there are many others who gave me the opportunities, platforms, guidance and encouragement.

In this term, I hope that everyone in Division D will also be given the platform to improve ourselves, taking up new challenges and achieve more; an environment where we help one another to Go for Greatness.

That is the meaning for Division D theme “Make Members Matter”.

The platform which helped me to grow as a leader is the Distinguished Club Program or DCP. This program helped me to learn to set target, monitor and move together with my team members towards a common goal. I believe this program will also help you in the same way it had helped me.

So my vision for the term is “Every Club is a Distinguished Club or Better”.

Finally, I am looking forward to another year of “Make Members Matter” and “Go for Greatness”.
